HEY Alaska! We need your help! ?
We are refurbishing a cabin at Eagle River Campground, and seeking input for the naming of the cabin. It is the preference of ASP to have the cabin and accompanying signage to be named and themed in both common (Western) and Dena’Ina language.
For example, if the project is to be bird themed and the cabin is named Bald Eagle, the accompanying Dena’Ina name would be “Dalika”.
We want your opinion for themes and names for the cabin. There is a possibility for future projects in this area, and the names would follow the same theme.
Please let us know in the comments what your favorite themes and names are for this wonderful project in one of the most accessible areas of the Chugach State Park.
