Today is my YouTube channel’s 3rd year anniversary! ?

I thought it would be fun to share a little bit of behind the scenes. The cameras I use for vlogging are Canon EOS M50, DJI Pocket 2, GoPro Hero 8 and my iPhone. My laptop is a MacBook Pro ? and I edit my videos with Final Cut Pro.

It’s funny looking back at my old vlogs (if you ever watched those — thank you for giving me a chance! ?) , but I’m so proud of seeing my growth since then in terms of confidence and editing techniques. I’ve wanted to vlog since at least 2016 but I kept talking myself out of it. In 2018 I got a “nice” camera thinking it would help motivate me to get started but it wasn’t until early 2019 that I finally dived in (side note — you DON’T need a fancy camera to get started! You can use your phone).

If you know me well you know that I’m very much an introvert and a shy person. I’m glad I pushed past my insecurities because YouTube has been such a fun creative outlet and a great way to preserve memories. ?

If there’s something you want to do in life that you keep talking yourself out of doing, I hope you find the strength and courage to give it a try. I’m rooting for you! ✨
