On Nov. 1, 2024, at 7:47 AM, APD Day Shift officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Cordova Street following reports from community members that a deceased infant was discovered outside at the location. Detectives are actively seeking assistance from the public to locate a female individual who might have recently given birth and may have information pertinent to the investigation.
The Crime Scene Team responded to process the scene.
Anyone with surveillance footage of the area, or other information regarding this investigation who has not yet spoken to the police is asked to call APD Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #0) or (907)786-8900 (press “0”).
