Winter Market at Bell’s Nursery
We are heading to Bell’s Nursery on 13700 Specking Ave. to put up our information booth. The Cooperative Extension will be at the winter market to hand out publications and other freebies, and we welcome you to join us in the greenhouse heat. Come and say hello on Saturday, March 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Seed Exchange
It is that time of year. Anchor gardens, Yardcopia, and Alaska Botanical Garden are hosting a seed exchange at the botanical garden. Bring your extra seeds and go home with seeds for some varieties you’ve never tried.

Forum to Publish Alaska Senator’s Debut Book
Forum Books editorial director Derek Reed has acquired world rights to Alaska Republican senator Lisa Murkowski’s debut book, Far from Home: An Alaskan Senator Faces the Extreme Climate of Washington, D.C., written with Charles Wohlforth. Gail Ross of WME handled the deal. Forum will publish Far from Home on June 24.
