CEO and Co-Founder Ron Duncan, GCI has been making some bold claims about the future of connectivity in Alaska, including its delivery of 10 gig internet speeds within the next five years. With the recent launch of Alaska’s first 5G service last year, the project to bring fiber broadband service to the Aleutians, 2 gig service turning up in October, and an influx of federal funding, GCI is optimistic about connectivity on the Last Frontier.
