The Contaminated Sites Program is making improvements to the Contaminated Sites Illegal Drug Manufacturing Sites web page (http://dec.alaska.gov/spar/csp/meth-lab/).

In order to make the information useful to the public we’d like some input from you.

Currently included on this webpage is a list of vendors that provide sampling and decontamination equipment for illegal methamphetamine manufacturing sites found at http://dec.alaska.gov/spar/csp/meth-lab/equipment-vendors.

In the past year, there has been an increase in calls from the public requesting information on contractors and/or consultants who can perform sampling and decontamination work after methamphetamine use inside a structure. To address this need, we are offering to list those businesses which specialize in sampling or decontamination services, in addition to the vendors that provide sampling and decontamination equipment.

If you would like your business to be listed as providing sampling or decontamination services, please contact Mossy Mead, DEC Environmental Program Technician, at mossy.mead@alaska.gov or 907-465-5390.
